Happy Birthday Marina! Another year older, another year I get to torment you with memes and puns from my folder. 

I hope you’re having fun in Japan, I’m glad 15 years of anime of anime finally paid off! I can’t wait to go through the camera roll together and listen to the stories you have of your adventures. I’m looking forward to adding to our stories we have of going off and seeing the world. 

I’m so excited for you to get to Seattle I have so much planned for to do, the list is about to bust 💦. PLEASE bring comfortable shoes, we’re gonna do so much walking, hiking, running and dancing, and since I know you won’t I’ll buy some salicylic acid and Band-Aids in advance. I miss you so much, I yearn to wake up next you and feel the heat from your warming mine. I miss you pulling away the blankets in the middle of the night and just nothing together with you in my arms. I miss the little remarks you make when we eat and your excitement when we walk past a smell-engineered bakery. I miss your home cooking that somehow always tastes way better than anything I could possibly make and the lazy days where we don’t get out of bed until 4. Being with you feels like home, even not calling while you’ve been in Japan feels like a year at sea. 

I love you and want to give the world for your birthday and in my head the website idea would’ve been fleshed out more, turns out I’m not great at designing a website when I’ve literally never done it before, (why is it so hard to make a persistent navigation bar from scratch?) not sure why I thought this would be easier. 🤔 I originally wanted it to be a place where you could upload your photos, and automatically sort them so it would help with your trip in Japan and so you’d have more space on your phone. I kinda got there, it’s currently a work in progress, next trip for sure! I wanted to give you something you could enjoy half way across the world, it’s not much right now but we can build it to be whatever want kinda like our future together I know we’ll build something beautiful 😊. 

 

You’re my best friend and I can’t imagine my life without you, I hope for another year of holding hands breathing in the moment, running late after the bus, eating amazing food, seeing the world and growing together every moment. I love you! Here’s to 23 years and a hundred more 💕
